해당 커뮤니티에 올라온 '페미 폭격 맞은 카페 근황'이란 글에서 작성자는 '아르바이트 못 들어갔다고 선동해서 한 사람 인생 흔드는 건 옳지않은 것 아니냐'며 '성별 떠나 이런 일은 일어나면 안 된다'고 주장했다. 곧 별점 1점 평가와 함께 힘내시란 글이 이어졌다.
알바생 절반이상이 초단기알바생를 좋아하는 것으로 나타났다. 알바몬이 20대에서 60대알바생 2,505명을 표본으로 '알바 근무여건 선호도'에 대해 인터넷조사를 진행했다. 조사결과 아르바이트생들은 1개월미만 일하는 '장기아르바이트생'보다 2개월이상 일하는 '장기알바생'를 더 선호한다고 답했다.
알바 경험이 있는 청년의 약 60%는 특정 성별을 선호해 고용을 거절당한 경험이 있다(여성 37.0%, 여성 40.7%)고 응답했다. 현재 임금 업무자인 청년 중 다니는 직장에서 남·여성이 하는 근무가 구분돼 있다는 데에 남성의 32.6%, 남성의 44.6%가 '그렇다'고 대답했다.
